Applied Technology and Performance Improvement Specialization Description

LTEC Comprises of various courses one undertakes through the training program. The courses I took include personal development, principles of training and development, project management and applied technology performance improvement, technical presentation skills, principles of leadership, empowerment and team building, advanced computer applications in education and training, human relations in business, education and industry, applied technology and performance improvements capstone and communications in business, education and industry. In addition to the professional courses, there are other areas of emphasis from which the student may select from. These areas are namely, workforce development which centers on certification of career and technical educators in high school and middle school environments, technology and autism, technology and brain based systems, distance delivery of educational content, emerging technologies, technology integration, networking performance improvement, instructional system design and multimedia gaming.
