The manager oversees the recruitment, appraisal, safety, compliance, compensation among others. Through this, the employees have an opportunity to have a better working condition with regards to the provisions indicated by the HR department. For proper function of any organization, it is essential to delegate the work to various sub-departments. An example, in this case, including the compensation, recruitment and safety sub-departments. The recruitment sub-department is responsible for ensuring that they hire as many employees as necessary with regards to the requirements of the organization. In the compensation department, there is the manager of the staff who develops the various functions for every person in the organization. Another key personnel in this sector is the payroll manager who is responsible for the preparation of the payroll for the employees.

He/she ensures that the necessary additions and deductions of the employees are accounted for to provide them with the required payments. The safety and regulation department contain a manager who heads all the operations undertaken in this sector. The manager ensures that the people receive the necessary training with regards as to how to handle any issues related to safety that they may face while in the organization. It ensures that the necessary procedures are in place to ensure that the employees have a better understanding of workplace law (Kongstvedt, 2012). The HRD supports legal department in ensuring that employees get to read the manuals provided regarding the operations of the firm and how specific actions may result in the undertaking of legal steps.

Therefore, the services between the two departments improve the performance of the company in general. There are various trends in the HR department in healthcare. One of the most important trends in the change in the skillset in healthcare. Accepting change is crucial in ensuring that organizations continue to improve their roles and therefore providing a better opportunity to promote the operations. Both HR and Legal departments can combine their efforts to ensure that they deal accordingly with the changes implemented. The process is essential since it provides the healthcare with a better chance to register specific improvements and at the same time enhance the involved parties to provide the necessary contribution at all time (Kongstvedt, 2012). The investment in the production of an efficient team to provide the services required in the hospital goes a long way in ensuring that the changes do not hurt the hospitals.
