However, this definition cannot be used to describe only one incident but to refer to repetitive harmful harassment over an extended period Also, there are several effects can be linked to cyber bullying that extends to the real world. For instance, it may lead to feelings of depression, overwhelming anger, and frustration. Further, it makes the victim lack a sense of self-worth which might lead to suicidal thoughts. Consequentially, some victims end up taking their own lives (Patchin, Justin W, and Sameer Hinduja 2). Furthermore, there are several challenges faced while efficiently trying to deal with cyber bullying. Often this practice is seen as a guiding tool to how we act and treat each other. However, that is not the intended purpose, but it instead aims to alert us to our failure to consider others in our everyday lives and divert from self-absorption.

This means that even on different forms of communication platforms teenagers should understand that everyone is allowed to be different and have different opinions. Therefore, we should not influence others’ lives negatively or treat their interest and views as secondary in preference to our own. For instance, this ethical theory has been somewhat put into action by a teen discussion website known as A thin line. For instance, the SRI Company which gave life to Sire application before it was acquired by Apple has plans to identify cyber bullying using smart computer algorithms.
