Due to the bad light under which they are seen, the boundary and the difference that exists between the two is becoming thinner and thinner. However, the two are different in a number of ways. This ranges from the overall uses of the two classes of substances as well as their overall effects on the human body. Normally, drugs and alcohol could be thought of as medicines that serve as antiseptics and treatment agents in the management of various disease conditions. In daily life, these substances are used for either the medicinal purposes or for recreational purposes. However, under the common understanding of the term ‘alcohol’ refers to the intoxicating beverages that are taken for recreational purposes. There is a wide debate on whether alcohol is to be considered a drug as well.
