List five understanding you have formulated based on this reading. • I have understood that students have very many differences such that other differences cannot be identified even by specialists. These differences found in students affect how the behave add their understanding. • A student can be termed as a disabled when his or her behavioral, cognitive or physical differences unpleasantly affect the student’s performance in school. • There is a difference between handicap, disability, and impairment in that an impaired student lacks a body part, or it is not functioning while a disability is when the student cannot do an activity because of the impairment. List five understanding you have formulated based on this reading. • I learned that in the past the government had a notion of tradition that one size fits all in education, but special education changed this notion and met the diverse needs of public and later private schools.
