Information is regarded as data that has been thoroughly refined to be satisfactory in all the measures of evaluation. The three myths of the information age include the myth that all data is information. The second tale touches on the fact that all information is considered valuable. The value of the information kept for significant use is evaluated on the ability of the data to influence the decision of the users. The third myth identified is the fact that all information is immediately comprehensible. For instance, the management insisted on using the data for short-term decisions. Purchasing trends have to be evaluated over an extended period (Naidu & Babu 2016). As a business professional the organization can guide against such myths by assessing the credibility and the amount of information collected.
