They reproduced highly, and they populated every region of the world. However, 65 million years ago these creatures vanished in all regions, and this called for research to determine the cause of their extinction. Dinosaurs were not the only animals that became the victims of mass extinction and the only animals not to ever exist again (Brusatte et al. Some animals were killed because of their effects to the human habitat and other animals; they were killing humans and other animals during the time that was called K-T extinction where K stands for Cretaceous and T for Tertiary (Oard, 2017). Some of the other creatures that were killed included marine reptiles such as sea crocodile, plesiosaurs, foraminifera, mosasaurs, fly reptiles and ammonites among other.

This is because dinosaurs began to compete for resources like food and water with other animals because the resources were scarce. In this case, the dinosaurs did not get enough food and water because they required large amounts of resources that were not achievable hence dying slowly by slowly. Other researchers indicate that gradual climate changes are also causes of dinosaurs' extinction. The researchers indicate that some climate conditions were harsh for dinosaurs to persevere hence causing their deaths. For example, (Kaiho et al. Nevertheless, there is significant evidence that suggests that a 5 to 15-kilometre wide bolide was experienced in the vicinity of the Yucatan peninsula resulting in the formation of chicxulub crater hence causing a huge extinction of dinosaurs (Oard, 2017).

This is because asteroid could have influenced the creation of volcano explosions, earthquakes and other earth deformations that changed the initial earth's formation and climate. These changes are suspected to be the main reasons for the extinction of the dinosaurs. Other researchers indicate that bolide influences a long drop in the universe's atmosphere; it has caused the formation of global warming that releases great heat waves. From the above discussion, it is evident that there is no doubt dinosaurs extinction occurred in about 65 years ago and there is no single creature that survived. , Carrano, M. T. , Evans, D.
