In contrast, Gavina is committed to consumer satisfaction yet still it has to compete with them. Gavina has achieved to do this through successfully distribution strategies. It sells its products through various marketing channels. Kotler, P defines marketing channels as independent organizations that avails services or products to business users or customers for consumption (Kotler and Armstrong, 2017). They include wholesalers’ stores, small shops, food suppliers and even retailers. First it uses retail strategy to sell its coffee directly from to its end user. The Company has retail shops which provide direct link to clients. This is necessary as it removes intermediary costs. As a result, it avails quality products to consumer at affordable prices (McCarthy, 2013). Another marketing channel that is presented in the video is through its main intermediary McDonald’s (drtranvan4, 2015).
