Global Societal Issues

The methods that I utilized in the identification of the topic for research included an analysis of one that affects a substantive part of the society and the cost it initiates towards limiting progress among communities (McDevitt & Ormrod, 2007). The level of controversy and prevalence of the topic stood out as a parameter that managed to enhance my decision on what topic to pursue investigations. Bhargava (2006) asserts a significant understanding of global issues and how best an analysis of the challenges comes in handy in helping to eliminate the problem in society. Digital divide is a problem that makes it impossible for the world to realize the dream of becoming a global village. It is important to develop strategic interventions that look into the factors fueling the divide and seek solutions that would allow satisfactory internet coverage (Zaitun & Crump, 2005).
