According to the American Nurses' Association, nursing is the protection, optimization, and promotion of health, prevention of injuries and diseases and advocating for proper health conditions in the communities. Health behavior, health education has been used interchangeably due to the confusions resulting from their definitions (Roh and Kim 77). Ideally, the concepts of health education and health promotion have different definitions and activities based on the illustrations below. The illustrations explain the differences between health behavior, health education, and health promotion. Health promotion encompasses little concepts of health education but focuses on the socioeconomic and environmental aspects of health. Due to the mentioned problems, it is necessary to have comprehensive teaching about the mistakes they have previously made and how they should make the changes to ascertain proper health maintenances in the community.
