Families are created from marriage and therefore marriage is the pillar of a family. Due to this fact, marriage and family are much interconnected and are of importance to sociology. The family is viewed in the society to be the most social unit on which the society is built on. The two of them create status roles that are known for sanctioning the society. The three sociological perspectives have attempted to explain these two social phenomena in different views. The conflict perspective majorly focuses on the conflicts in the society that are currently brought about due to the struggles of the available limited resources as well as the way in which conflict can be created so as to bring about social change.
