This paper is a strong discussion of the process of organizational change. Lewin was the brain behind the change model which comprised of three concrete steps of unfreezing, changing and refreezing. It is a model of enormous simplicity and practicality. The model is still prevalent in the contemporary world of strategic management and business. The steps are discussed below Unfreezing Before the implementation of a change, it should be taken through an initial step which entails awareness creation about the shortcomings of the current acceptability level. News ways of thinking processes and behaviors are imminent at this stage (Burnes). Support, education, complete communication and efficient time planning are essential elements for this stage to be a success. Refreezing Also regarded as model freezing and it encapsulates the act of reinforcement, stabilization and solidification of the new change and condition.
