MPH in Health Promotion

Growing up in India, I was made aware of a world where not every person can afford decent healthcare. There were thousands of people who lived in slums and could not even provide their families with the necessities. Looking at the condition of these people, my grandfather started an organization to help them. I started volunteering with him at the age of thirteen - every Sunday we would go to a nearby slum and would provide people with clothes, food, and would educate them about a better and healthier lifestyle to make them aware about the importance of sanitation to avoid diseases. Health promotion is something that I have been passionate about since a very early age. Therefore, I would be happy to gain the skills that will enable me to study and analyze the ethical, political, historical, commercial, social and conceptual challenges and disparities facing the health policy in the country and internationally.
