Multicultural in Australia Today

The researched was conducted using, historical books, journals and other scholarly articles. It is important to research on the topic because it helps in comparing the success of multiculturalism in Australia and other European countries. Multicultural in Australia Today My main focus was to research on the extent of multiculturalism in Australia. According to work of Soutphommasane in 2016, multiculturalism is a reality among the Australians because they believe in their daily activities as they interact with people of different backgrounds. According to a survey conducted in 2015, more than 86% of the Australians admit that multiculturalism has helped the country grow both economically and in cultural integration. For instance, French policy refers multiculturalism as assimilation or republican. On the other hand, German policy accepts immigrants in their labour market but stay in the country as guests(Laundy, 2016).
