Initially, it was difficult for me to narrow down to one single item, but this evening, reality hit me. Ideally, health is the most important asset in my life. According to WHO (2017), health refers to both physical and mental wellness of the body. Mostly, when people hear about an asset, they tend to imagine about material things forgetting that possession goes beyond tangible items. After visiting several patient wards in Texas District Hospital and seeing how the absence of health in a person’s life is a challenge, I think health is the most important asset a person can have. As a result, the mental and physical wellness of these people deteriorates, and they end up being put on medication. Being a holiday, most businesses were nonoperational since most people were out to celebrate with their families.

However, some stores were operational because the owners wanted to fetch more during that festive day. At about 3: 00 pm and after visiting several patients, we felt that we needed some rest after which we had to leave for home. As we were exiting the main entrance into the facility, we ran into Jacobs. Even more, exercising helps the body to produce endorphins which help it to feel better. On the contrary, most people ignore exercising because of their busy schedules, or they assume that good health comes by nature or believe that it is expensive to practice healthy living. Money does not and will not buy good health. “The most important possession you own is your health. ” As we served the fresh orange juice on that evening, we chatted a lot, and the most important phrase I picked from grandfather is the emphasis he put on his words that without health, the whole family will be aching in pain.
