These guidelines also outline how the teacher should engage with the parent, colleagues and other staff, and the community in general. This essay will discuss the issues relating t the code of ethical conduct. According to (Bredekamp, 2007, p. 528), the basis for developmental teaching is centered on the following three fundamental themes: intentional teaching, effective and evidence-based teaching, and an interesting and exciting curriculum. The first principle takes into consideration all these themes and puts the child welfare first before anything else. The ethical practices outlined by NAEYC outlines all the fundamental issues involved in childhood development. It defines all the responsibilities required of those involved in the field with the interest of the child in mind. Therefore, as leaders in the field considering the guidelines ensures that the welfare of the children is put in the first place before anything else.
