To a greater extent, the degree of being fit is determined by our eating habit. That the reason why many people are shifting to a vegetarian diet that consists wholly of nuts, vegetables, grains, fruits and sometimes dairy products and eggs. People chose this form of food due to a number of reasons depending on their perceived health beliefs, age, religion, gender and to some extent education level (Deborah, 36). However, the majority consider being vegetarians due to health reasons. Therefore, such people believe that one does not necessarily have to consume meat to acquire all the nutrients needed to stay healthy. Fewer cases of obesity, coronary heart diseases, diabetes, hypertension, diet-related cancers, and gallstones among many other types of illnesses have been reported among the vegetarians.

This is because of fibers, antioxidants, carotenoids, flavonoids, and phytonutrients present in the foods consumed by the vegetarians. In addition, foodborne diseases originating from parasites, bacteria and chemical toxins are less common in vegetable diets as compared to the meat and related diets. Consuming of less processing food by the vegans also reduces incidences related to such foods (Gilbert et al, 95). A vegan diet is less in calories. Research has revealed that this type of cancer is shared among the vegan users. It also offers relatively low bone mineral density especially among the grouping group of people like the children and adolescent (Robertson, 43). From the above research, I would advise my client to consider being a vegetarian. Due to less knowledge in understanding of most the health terms, I would just mention some of the prominent reasons why he should believe being a vegetarian is an excellent idea.
