It is also used in factories and organization to run different machines like computers. Energy is divided into two common groups, renewable and non-renewable energy. Most of the energy used worldwide comes from non-renewable energy sources which have limited supply, for instance, petroleum, coal, uranium and natural gas. Kralova confirmed that, renewable energy sources have unlimited supply because they are naturally ever-replenishing (2010). The following are some examples of renewable sources, solar energy, biomass, wind energy, hydropower and geothermal energy. Nonrenewable energy sources are considered as pollutants because they deplete the resources from the ground leaving bare useless lands and their use is also not friendly to the environment as they release harmful gasses and waste which continue degrading the environment. They are also a threat to the health of human beings especially those who live near nonrenewable energy power station.

They are currently abundant and cost-effective compared to current renewable fuels and they can be easily accessed (Tugcu et al. Renewable fuels are produced mainly from renewable natural resources that’s supply is not threatened. They are in the limelight because they are considered the solution to environmental pollution caused by fossil fuels. They are biodegradable, cheap, and they reduce air pollution, they are also limited by distribution and production infrastructure (Panwar et al. Their production can also affect food supply and prices in future and most engine manufacturers do not easily produce special engines to use these fuels alone unless on order. The rate energy demand is rising is alarming because it raises issues of whether the world will be able to produce enough energy to cater for its future demand.
