Apple cider vinegar is usually served after taking meals. It is diluted in water, and the customers take it after taking meals. Additionally, Japanese are fond of taking warm water after filling their tummies rather than either drinking cold water or a glass of soda. For many scenarios, this had disturbed my curious mind and I sought counsel with one of the customers. Surprisingly, this is a behavior enshrined in Japanese culture. A thin line lies between obesity and overweight. In most cases, these two terms have been used interchangeably. However, this is quite misleading since there is a distinction between the two. The Body Mass Index is mostly used to highlight the difference. Body Mass Index is a formula that takes into account the height and body weight.

It is common in food products such as sushi. Vinegar lowers blood pressure, inhibits postprandial hyperglycemia as well as improve hypercholesterolemia. Acetic acid also inhibits the expression of lipogenic genes which results in decrease in body weight (Halima 72). Apple cider vinegar is nutritious. It is jam-packed with mineral salts, vitamins, and other trace elements. Experiment To affirm the hypothesis , a study was conducted. The study consisted formation of three groups. A total of twenty members (ten males and ten females) between the ages of 40 and 45 years were studied. They had a BMI of between 25 and 30kg/m2 which is the standard criterion for individuals suffering from obesity. The body weight should have been stable 2 months before commencement of the study. The collected data was analyzed using statistical software.

Two subjects were discontinued from the study due to deviation from the dietary set conditions. It was important to note that men and women have different Body Mass Index. Changes in stature, skeleton framework, fat consistency and lean mass explains this inconsistency of body mass index among gender. High dosage of cider vinegar was appropriate in weight loss. It also affects the metabolism of glucose in diabetic patients and can be used in controlling of hypoglycemia. The changes were more pronounced after the first month. The rate of weight loss reduced in the second phase of the experiment.
