When organization theory are applied correctly, they can have several advantages for the organization and the society at large. This is due to the quest for some organization towards assimilating into the capitalist societies and therefore they recruit a wave effect between themselves and other competing partners and the economic pressures which are already in existence. Once an organization sees an expansion window, it starts growing and thus altering the economic equilibrium. Organization theory can also help identify harmful practices which can be used to predict better precautions which may be used in future in future. Although management was held with low self-esteem in olden days, there are very many developments which can be traced in history. Melanie argues that workers are vital towards the functioning of the company and thus she will ensure that their interests are met.

She had good ideas unlike Valerie and believed would prevent the unrest that workers could cause as a result of their demands. Valerie could also do the job but most of the ideas that she put in place came from other people only for her to execute them. Henry Gantt and his contributions He was a mechanical engineer and with Taylor’s idea, he advanced the management theory further. He is credited with coming up with a tool for measuring efficiency through planning referred to as Gantt chart. Melanie also believes that the company is like a big family and that they must know all its parts and the people who are vital in order to keep it moving. In her argument, she portrays the need and the quest to have the work done best and in the right way in order to keep the company functioning.
