Members cooperate and they have a close face to face contact. A secondary group is a large scale society having members of different interest. It is characterized by; less physical contacts among members due to size leading to indirect communication. Apparently, membership is voluntary and they are large in size. Members have specialized and labor is divided equally among members. Various dysfunctions of bureaucracies include; lack of communication among members of the same organization. Bureaucracy alienation is where members start to feel like objects rather than people.
