Sustainability Population Growth and Urbanization

Recycling of materials to the highest degree possible is a promising solution to growth sustainability. In attaining sustainable development, there is a need for managing the current resources and avoiding activities that compromise resources for the future generations (Bartlett 5). Reducing waste and saving both natural and artificial resources by reusing materials such as concrete will be of great significance in ensuring sustainability is achieved. The use of chemicals, which aids in processing agents can reduce and save energy both in local and commercial industries hence an advantage towards attaining sustainable growth. Incorporation of the modern technologies in heavy industrial sectors such as cement production companies in crushing of stones at a faster rate and less energy will be significant in energy conservation (Bartlett 7).

Besides, studies have shown a reduced and managed birth rates in countries, such as Ethiopia and the United States of America by sixty-three percent is attributed to radio and television education (Tsiattalos 5). Promotion of family planning incentive has also proved to be a masterpiece in controlling global population growth. The introduction of contraceptives in countries such as Iran has shown excellent results of reduction in fertility rate from 5. 7 percent to 2. 3 percent per women over a decade (Tsiattalos 6). The solution to the above problem is to construct more green buildings in Hong Kong to make the environment neater, desirable, and sustainable for the humans. Waste management in another significant challenge in Hong Kong and has affected the environment not sparing the well-being of the individuals in the city.
