Thank to God Essay

The ignorance that we hold about God’s forgiveness greatly contribute to a believer forming a habitual sin in their lives which even leads to a greater discipline by God. There is a need to differentiate between discipline and cold-hearted punishment. When God is punishing us, it acts as his response to love and indicates his desire for every one of us to be holy. It is stated in Proverbs 3:11-12 ‘ My son, do not despise the LORD’s disciplines and do not resent his rebuke, because of the Lord Discipline those he loves, as a father the son he delights in’ (The New English Bible, 2009). The bibles state that the Lord will use trials, testing, and other predicaments so that he can bring us back to himself and repent.
Personally, there was one instance that I considered to be the hardest and this was during my junior high. I was not the largest individual, physically and also in size. This was not only the case in high school, even in life, but I was also always the smallest one and this limited my operations as well before the others as I was always bullied. The period of which I was bullied was one of the hardest time in my life, and at times I even considered dropping out of school so that I can find some peace of mind. I remember there was one time that this huge boy that was bullying me came before me and knocked my books down before everyone and when I bent down to try and collect them, he knocked them further.
