The same applies to the modern world where people experience nature without leaving the comfort of the city. According to Loo, there is great change in the past or ancient wilderness where people hunted and gathered freely. The twentieth century has seen a demand for conservation of nature and wildlife. This has led to the so called “modern wilderness”. The animals are enclosed in a particular area and these are what are called parks. Game laws were created that put a restriction on how people hunted and interacted with the environment around them. These laws also were responsible for tracking migratory birds. The same sporting lobbies pointed a need to the provincial governments on the needs to preserve wildlife for future generations.
