The value of qualitative research in Nursing

Most of the early qualitative research were dominated by participant observation and ethnographic studies. The philosophies underlying between qualitative researches and nursing have been studied and comparisons made. Nursing constitute such elements as patience and commitment, trust and understanding as well as openness and flexibility. The researchers have argued that these can be incorporated into research approach they use (F & T. , 2017) The purpose and Types of research in nursing Generally, the main purpose of research in nursing is to give solutions to question and problems that are relevant to the profession of nursing. Another challenge is posed by the religious groups especially if the religion seems to be compromised by the research. Also traditions falls under this category as a barrier to successful research.
