Indeed, the likenesses and connection of the Gospels to each other have made a standout amongst the most faced off regarding subjects in the domain of New Testament Studies to the extent that it has led to the development of, "The Synoptic Problem. "The Gospel according to Matthew was written by apostle Jesus' disciple, the Gospel according was written by John Mark who was connected of Paul the apostle and the Gospel according to Luke was written by Luke, the physician who was a follow of Apostle Paul. The paper is basically about finding a scripture that is common in all the three books of Mathew, Mark, and Luke and breaking it down. Given that the three books contain similar view, about ninety percent of the Gospel of Mark contents are found in the Gospel according to Matthew, and about fifty percent of it is found in the book of Luke.

In as much as the three books contain similar wording but to at least divert the believers' attention from seeing the obvious similarities, the books have incorporated some unique materials in addition to the portions. An example of chapters in both the three Gospels, is that of the healing of the leper which are parallel to each other; based on the healing of the leper the Gospel according to Matthew, Mark, and Luke are similar as follows: Matthew chapter 8, verse 2-4 It happened that a leper went worshiping Him, saying, "Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean. " Then Jesus placed His hand and touched him, saying, "I am willing; be cleansed. " Immediately his leprosy was cleansed. And Jesus said to him, "See that you tell no one; but go your way, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded as a testimony to them.
