Summary The article from the New York Times tries to explain the Trump’s Immigration policies that the government plans to implement in honoring the Trump promise on immigrants. The article identifies a cluster of immigrants who will be deported on assumption to office. The view is that during Obama’s administration formulated a way forward for the deportation of unauthorized immigrants especially those who posed security dangers to the country. However, these guidelines in 2014 seemed to tie the hands of officials on who to target for deportation for the whole illegal immigrants were not targeted.

On this, the administration aims to venture into having reports about the immigrants and releases on continuous basis. According to the article, the administration also seeks to quash the privacy rights for the families and instead come with a way through which the obtained information would be shared within the departments. Opinion Looking at the articulation of the article in concern with the Trump’s policies on immigration several things are clear with the new drive by the administration. It is through those ways that the Trump administration aims to implement the immigration policies. Increased costs due to the increased manpower in police forces and immigration departments as some of these are unnecessary steps that can be handled with the current state of these departments with good policies.
