STRENGTHS Global Organizational Size Walmart stores usually have high volume capacity that allows them to store a variety of goods. Therefore, the availability of proper organization is crucial in the determination of the better performance of the company in the long run (Lombardo, 2015). The size of the stores also provides an opportunity to ensure that the firm contains deep pockets that are crucial in the aspect of funding growth as well as enabling expansion purposes. Global Supply Chain Supply chain management is an active factor that assists the organization to determine the various market risks encountered. The businesses, therefore, develop a resilience that ensures that all the necessary elements are put into consideration before undertaking any transaction. Therefore, the margins tend to remain thin as compared to other competitors in the same category (Hassan, Sistani & Raju, 2014).

The strategy helps in the improvement of the sales but does not affect ensuring that the profit margin improves in the process. A Common Business Model For an organization to succeed, it is essential for the management to change the business model from different points with the aim of improving its performance (Lombardo, 2015). Through this, the revenue generation tends to increase, and the involved parties gain in the process. For Walmart, the business model in use remains the same therefore giving opportunities to the competitors to copy and at times perform better as a result. Partnerships Walmart is putting effort into partnering with local brands with the aim of providing better services to the customers. It also provides Walmart with the chance to ensure that they diversify their operations and at the same time improve on the strategies in place with the aim of supporting the employees in all the ways possible (Pratap, 2016). The partnership opportunities will also result in the improvement of the services of the company. Expansion in Developing Countries Since Walmart has a strong brand personality, it has the best chance to expand in developing nations. Healthy Lifestyle Walmart does not have a strong position on the use of organic products, and therefore it does not sell many of these products. On the other hand, competitors like Costco have invested in natural products since they support a healthy lifestyle. The aggressive move by the competitors is attracting a wide customer range, and therefore the appropriate strategies to assist in dealing with the matter.
