Water pollution is caused by the industrial waste, burning of fossil fuel, mining activities, agricultural activities, accidental oil leakages, chemical waste, marine dumping and radioactive waste. There are different types of bacteria which thrive in sewage water hence increasing the chances of developing stomach problems.

The radioactive wastes which enter into the water bodies may result in cancer when an individual drink the water contaminated with nuclear wastes (Schwarzenbach et al. Not only does radioactive wastes results to deadly diseases such as cancer, but also increases the chance of individuals having kids with disabilities. This approach is formulated in order to discourage individuals from engaging in activities which could contaminate the water bodies. Conclusion Water pollution is a serious threat to the aquatic animals and human health. The human activities such as industrialization and farming are the major causes of water pollution. The pollution has contributed to the occurrence of diseases such as cancer, typhoid, cholera, and malaria which eventually results in deaths. Therefore, there is a greater need of understanding the main cause and impact of water pollution so that to formulate effective solutions.
