Many Americans have abused the authority given unto them in gun ownership and have used them to harm others. Nonetheless, many Americans view gun ownership as a natural right that cannot be taken away from them and thus, it influences their votes. The twenty-second amendment established presidential term limits. The founders had the vision of setting the proper foundation for democracy and limiting presidential power. Nevertheless, the second amendment is still subject to debate. Many of America’s security problems can be attributed to the notion that is a natural right to own guns. Many Americans use this right to kill and commit other crimes needlessly.
