However, the country contributed to the in terms of supplying products such as food as the major countries involved drained their resources in the course of the war (Goodwin 12). California specifically is one state that largely benefited from the historical event. The economy of the state grew rapidly as income was flowing constantly. The influence can be analyzed with focus on the California aerospace industry, weapon production and agriculture industry. Airplanes were in constant demand to be used in the war and hence California benefited from the opportunity. As a result, income generation was high boosting the California economy. The issue of unemployment was solved as people got employed in the rapid growing economy. Transportation was also enhanced to facilitate easy transportation of products to be exported to Europe.

In addition, the living standards of the people of California became better with time (Rhode 1). Apart from aerospace industry, other industries made products to be exported to Europe. The growth of the various key industries such as transport, agriculture and manufacturing during the time of the war will be enough to connect the world War II and the growth of such industries (Siebert 01). Lastly, the research will relate the growth of such industries with the growth and development of California state. In that way, the research would have answered the question of how the World War II influenced growth and development of California. Conclusion World War II had a positive influence on the growth and development of California. It’s during this time that most of the key industries in the state grew rapidly.
