Countdowns mission and vision statement touches on the market leadership in the retail sector of the New Zealand and the world figure in general. One of the major challenges that the retail shop faces and has been a strain for the last 5 years is; the ever dynamic consumer demand and the growth of digitization. Through such mission –vision integration the management has through many ways encouraged their potential workers in anticipation of building a teamwork that is loyal to the mission and vision of the retail shop. Other minor changes have been made on the slogan to keep the motivated customers mood redeemed as from time to time. That option poses a fair competitive ground that the retail would be able to thrive in and as well outdo the competitors in the market if well implemented.
