Introduction of Massive open online courses in Universities

In New Zealand there is a challenge on MOOCS suggesting that it will eliminate the traditional pedagogy. Thus, raises the question concerning future campus based on education. Further, in weighing the level of opportunities and threats in MOOCS most literatures tend to focus on its origin and movement. The final conclusion on issues related to online studies in New Zealand were related to higher learning system, and its historical era. Key Words: New Zealand, MOOCS, Research Introduction The only tool that is capable of delivering programs and higher qualifications is the massive open online course. Further, introduction of MOOCS in NZ Universities not only generate advancements in traditional learning, but also creates hope on reducing the gap on unemployment. That said it is apparent that openness movement is a real game change, since it has the potential to access life-long studying.
Methodology The study intended to explore the current as well as future results of massive openness online courses, in New Zealand Universities on its impact to the traditional education. The research sought to analyze the issue from a perspective of the ODL tradition study. However, the research question whose answer was solved in this research was: Should New Zealand Universities adapt MOOCs if so, to what extent should it compliment or replace traditional education? Further, in the future the research will be carried using analysis interpretation technical tool, based on opportunities and challenges scrutiny framework. MOOCS is a great opportunity in New Zealand since it has higher international ranking in particular subjects. Thus, online learning present opportunities, including the ability to extend their brand and reach to a large international audience.
