D 118 and 125. The building was constructed usually by Emperor Hadrian to replace Commander Marcus Agrippa’s and Augustus friend pantheon of 27 B. C buildings that was burnt to the ground (Adam Augustyn 2017). When an individual is approaching the pantheon front, there are Latin words inscription that is written, words that were dedicated by Marcus Agrippa. "M. The pediment which is the triangle part that is above the inscription is currently blank. The dates of the building are uncertain since Hadrian did not write them because he decided it to restore Agrippa old temple inscription. Pantheon building is usually the most preserved building among other ancient Roman buildings since it had been in continuous use throughout its history. The primary purpose as to why pantheon building has been able to survive in such notable shape while many other buildings are gone might be the truth that Pope Boniface IVI sanctified it as a church dedicated to Martyr and Mary Saints in 609.

This is usually the name which it is called currently, and masses are still celebrated here (Asc1, 2004). From this period, many architects have copied the design of the dome. The personality of the architect individual who designed the current pantheon is unknown although many scholars point it to Apollodorus of Damascus. The sections of Hadrian’s pantheon are usually columned porch with eight huge granite Corinthian columns in anterior and two clusters of four behind while with an intermediate part of the brick and lastly the monumental dome. The Pantheon dome is currently known to be the largest surviving dome from the ancient times. It is also known to be the most massive dome globally until Brunelleschi’s dome that is on the Duomo of Florence, and it was constructed and completed in 1436.

On the other side, there were heavy materials that were used to support the heavy weight of the house. On the lowest level travertine, the materials used were heavy. The mixture of tufa and travertine and bricks and tufa, then all blocks were usually utilized around the drum part of the dome. Finally, pumice which is lightest and most absorbent materials were used on the ceiling of the dome.
