Established in 1994, Amazon has been on the market for quite a long time, and hence it understands and have full knowledge on all the occurrences in the market and how to maneuver and establish a brand of itself in the market. During the initial establishment years of Amazon, it used to primarily deal with books and other assorted things that related to reading. However, as time goes Amazon has now specialized in a wide range of goods in the market ranging from books, clothing, electronics among others. It is an online business whereby customers across the world order for goods through their website and pay for the same and the company ships the products to their customers globally. The development of Amazon can be traced back to the 1990s when Jeff Bezos began a small functioning online business to market a range of products mostly including books.

This is despite the huge competition scale in the market structure and the general business structure. The company is now one of the greatest beneficiaries of Commerce, and hence this has become a major force behind the growth and the massive development of the company structure. The company’s competency is therefore based on the development of modern technology, and the business has greatly harnessed these technological developments and advancements for the general good and the best experience of the business.
