I have learned that NHS is operational in England, Wales, Scotland and N. Ireland. It was founded in the year 1948 when there was a big problem concerning affordability to health services and safety during austerity. The aim is to provide health services that meet the international standard for all the citizens of the United Kingdom (McGivern, & Ferlie, 2017, p2). That is why, being an employer, there is a need to look for a highly competitive work in various departments of NHS (Bresnen, McGivern, & Ferlie, 2017, p3). Actually, this is part of being a patriot that one has as a project manager always support all progressive ideas and accept the fact that there is room for and enacting changes which start by himself or herself.

Therefore, competitive project manager in NHS must be willing and have self-realization of what they are working toward maintaining their status quo in a stiff competition (Reid, Higgins & MacGregor, 2017, p34). Another finding that details how to become one the great competitive project managers is by enabling competition thorough changing the structure of the contest. However, using it alone is insufficient in producing the required ideas level. This is simply because the project management is working towards intervening occurrence of a competitor. This should be put in a way that aligns the behavior of project managers in a manner that supports overall interest in the project management system of NHS. For instance, giving rewards to appreciate other stakeholders I making effort in making things run smoothly the NHS should create a scenario that the project managers contest in their service delivery.

Otherwise, there will be no point of the contest. Reimbursement ought to reward excellence. On the other hand, poor jobs should be punished and heckled according to me so that none will watch themselves preside over or monitor or even provide shoddy work. During a stage like an implementation of a project, the competitive manager is meant to ensure that all test are done correctly so that I can be sure of robustness. I will achieve this via putting relieved data and expected output must be achieved just before I implement the system it is also good for me to head in reducing chances that may cause errors at this stage. This will be attained when the project manager incorporates things like designing roles as collaborations are highly encouraged in order to minimize resistant. Another thing is updating plans and project charters to avoid risk and other varied ensures related to logistics. There is a need to increase primary capacity to hire higher volumes and include the capability of their primary capacity clinicians. For an involved manager, there should be a shift between the hospital settings in order to enhance competitiveness in the management. As the project manager who seeks to increase the competitiveness in NHS, an introduction of incentives to the purchasers of health services should increase the productivity and quality of the services provided by NHS (Ham, 2018). The incentives would give patient hope of seeking the value for their many which are crucial and essential to the patient who seeks treatment in NHS.

This implies that there are will be due pressure in the project management sector as the managers will be in a situation where they must provide quality services as the client would expect from them. Identifying a few key individuals in the senior positions and management level executive would be worth I streamlining the upcoming challenges and be dealt with amicably (Cunningham, 2017). Measuring and understanding the benefits and impacts of the changes you will make to improve the functioning of NHS should be well understood. The aims and objectives of the projects and the issues to be addressed should be well known by the project manager (me) to enhance the measurement for improvement, benefits realization and come up with driver diagrams and tools to tackles this changes you will make in NHS (Reid, Higgins & MacGregor, 2017, p39).

DISCUSSIONS Through the data and the results, I managed to tackle the key objectives concerning how one can become a competitive manager, the challenges in NHS were established, the importance of a competent manager in NHS, key roles for the project manager and how Brexit will affect the NHS and the project manager (Ham, 2018). Some of the major challenges facing NHS were the ills of corruption and mismanagement of funds, failure to reach the mutual agreement between the major constituting countries of UK, the countries culture and traditions and the failure to acquire up to technology and machinery to work in this hospitals (Reid, Higgins & MacGregor, 2017, p37). Planning is one of the key roles of the project manager, he or she should plan tasks and schedule that are in the line of duty, the use of the lane, six sigma, total quality management and 5S could be employed to improve NHS Operation And Increase The Trust, acceptability of NHS by the people (Cunningham, 2017).

The key role of the project manager within NHS was found to be defined and various skills were sought with strategic thinking and negotiation, planning and general management skills vital. They also work from 8. 30am to 5. 00pm and have their stipulated places of work. NHS is largely dependent on taxation and will be greatly affected by the state of the economy. NHS may have escaped some of the fiscal austerity of the Brexit, but being that almost two-thirds of the NHS trust in England have budget deficits the issue will sparkle some major problems with the aging population using demand, technological advance and plan for service all over the United Kingdom. Future NHS funding and their expenditure will have to rely on taxation derived from an economic growth.

The huge amount of money derived from EU membership will cost as acknowledged by the health select committee of the United Kingdom and the failure to withdraw would at least save the budget for NHS (Bresnen, McGivern, & Ferlie, 2017, p8). The funding by the individual country benefiting from NHS will increase, as cited by the United Kingdom government and will need around 8 billion pounds but the sources of the fund basically taxation remains the same hence the worry of where to get this fund (Cunningham, 2017). Here, human behavior can be managed by controlling the naïve nature of man. Individualist is where change is seen as an initiative of a person and competition engulfing you. Pursuing ones needs amount to collective benefits.

Individualist sees egalitarians and hierarchism as self-serving. Fatalists take successful change is the unlikely event which when it takes place, it random in effects. The clinicians, doctors and other workers within NHS are not in line with the project management and may lack various skills and as the project manager, it’s your mandate to ensure that the relationship and acceptability by the stakeholders are high. Good project managers will promote the best relationship and rapport with clients and major stakeholders in NHS and enhance better delivery of service for the people. Research and development wing within NHS will be vital with the project managers being at the core ensuring that there is innovation and better machinery bring brought to the hospital in the UK (Ham, 2018).

The project managers will also need to employ various improvement strategies like the Lean, 5 S, and six sigma, to enhance quality, cost-efficient and time bound services within NHS. A complaint was raised in 2017 of the long waiting hours to at least four hours per patient and up to eighteen weeks for major treatments and these strategies may seek to answer and solve these problems to bring down the waiting time and time taken for delivery of service. Adapting these recommendations will in very great ways promote the competitiveness of project managers within the NHS and will lead to hiring acceptability rates by the people of United Kingdom and from all walks of life from the entire world (Ham, 2018). The challenges facing project managers within NHS, their roles, and importance for the NHS health systems were established. The impacts of Brexit toward NHS was also looked in to expansively. The finding from the research revealed there was mismanagement of fund and corruption within NHS as evidenced in the RISP project where huge sums of money were lost. The withdrawal of the UK from EU with twenty-seven nations means that the extra funding for NHS will come from taxation of the UK people which in a way would not augur well. Research and development should be given priority for the NHS health systems so as to be up to date with new technology and types of machinery to offer quality services to the people of UK.

Continuous evaluation and learning of prince 2 by the project managers with the emphasis on the principle skills and the main themes of Prince 2 would also help NHS in a long way to increase the competitiveness of its project managers. Advocating for the best-trained project managers within NHS through the hiring department would also mean that the best are recruited and will bring about the best delivery of quality services and increase the competence of project managers in NHS. Forging for better relations between the workers, government and non-government organizations, patients and the project managers would also result to better management of projects for the project managers which would, in turn, culminate to better funding and execution of projects thus earning the project management competitiveness.

Therefore, I agree with him that I should socialize and make good friends with new colleagues. And it should be clear that I the rate of making friends differ from person to person and I can confirm this statement from a practical point of view while I am interacting with new guys here in school. He also used the student counseling services available at the University of Newcastle when he faced a problem. It is amazing to see that it is the same case for me as in school we have a similar organ meant to aid students. He did volunteering at the student counsel unit. This is why his financial status at university is higher when compared to me and that is why I wish to practice his ways during holidays because our loans provision is shrinking every day.
