Politics in Italy are characterized by corruption and scandals and this has for so long astonished the economic system of Italy which could instead be robust. It was inevitable that constant chaos would sooner or later result to political system weaknesses that would translate to problems in the economic system as proved in the 2011 Eurozone crisis. The government of Italy is facing a political instability which is a full-blow government crisis that threatens to end the coalition which in turn could lead to more political fragmentation. Political instability results from weaknesses in the political system and it is not a friendly factor in as far as marketing and business are concerned. Further investigations reveal that Italy has a unique culture of family recognition and they greatly value each other in a family proved by the close proximity maintained among relatives and the extended family.

A country whose people are well educated have greater chances of escaping problems such as poverty and instead, be on the forefront in attaining wealth and stability. Italy has a literacy level of 99. 2% with an approximate age of 15 years and above being able to write and read. In addition, further investigation reveals that Italy has numerous fundamentals of business culture and customs. The Italian society appreciates qualities like politeness and good manners. It is also responsible for regulating admission procedures and a listing of companies and intermediaries while at the same time supervising disclosures for listed companies. Italy is a located in southern Europe and it covers a total area of 301,340 square kilometers. The climatic pattern of Italy is predominantly Mediterranean with hot and dry weather in the south and to the far north, the alpine weather ("Italy | Facts, Geography, & History").

The topography of Italy is mostly mountainous and rugged with several coastal lowlands and plains. Italy has a population of 62,137,802 people as established in July 2017 that is fairly evenly distributed throughout most of the country. Education in Italy was governed by Casati law that organized the school systems on a centralized control plan of French to 1923 when the entire system of education was reformed. A reinforcement of state supremacy was achieved by the introduction of a state examination at the end of every main course studies to be undertaken by all pupils from private and public schools. A schooling duration of eight years became compulsory with five years in elementary schools followed by lower or middle secondary schools. An extension of the five-year upper secondary level was proposed which was highly diversified with programs in industrial technical and vocational programs.

Admission to higher education levels was gained upon successful completion of any of the alternatives of the upper secondary. The electoral system has undergone substantial and frequent changes and the present version of the system is both hugely controversial and immensely complex. The main political coalitions in the Italian parliament include: • The centre-left Partito democratico • Center-right Forza Italia – it went to the opposition in 2013 • Movimento 5 Stelle – it was formed in 2009 as an anti-establishment protest movement.

Later in 2012, it rose to prominence and won the February i2013 general election with more votes than any other single political party. • Resident non-domiciled tax – the new law will initiate a key change in the usual taxation plan for Italian tax residents. This new provision requires that a person who meets certain conditions can be recognized as a resident in Italy but non-domiciled and this will allow taxpayers, upon income generation in Italy, to pay a single and fixed tax payment. In Italy, a local government is the public administration of counties, cities, towns, and districts. The purpose of local governments is to provide a system where the councils exercise their powers and perform the functions conferred by law ("Functions of Local Government - Good Governance Guide").

The councils in the local government perform their duties and achieve their goals in various ways: • Service delivery – the local government holds a duty to manage and deliver numerous quality services to the local communities in such as public libraries, health facilities, road maintenance and recreational facilities. This is because every investor prefers making investments in places that are secure with no conflicts. It is also true that businesses tend to do well in areas where people are peaceful. The judicial system of Italy is based on the civil law. The ministry of justice is accountable for carrying out the administrative functions whereas the role of a public prosecutor, as well as that of the judge, is exercised by associates of the judiciary.

The judicial role can be subdivided into different areas including; administrative, accounting, criminal and ordinary civil, taxation and military. This results in increased cases insecurity, corruption, and crimes because there is no strong arm to bring law-breakers into justice. Italy provides exclusive trademark rights on properties upon registration in the whole Italian territory and they are viable for ten years from the filing date. Presence of trademark rights is an assurance of property security, therefore, exclusive ownership. The social class in Italy dates back to the early ancient Rome. The Roman society was largely divided into hierarchical levels with the slaves being at the lowest level and the wealthy class at the top. • Rural working class – these are people functioning in the subsistent levels such as fishermen, farmers etc.

They comprise 9% of the employed population. Italy has organized social places where the Italians go during their leisure times to enjoy themselves. One of these popular places is called bocciofile which is basically a bowling club that is majorly attended by the elderly. They spend their afternoons playing cards, bocce and remembering the old days. It is characterized by its faithfulness and rich liturgical life to the apostolic tradition. The structure of the Orthodox Church is made up of the canons, the clergy and laity, monasticism and the episcopate. Italy is known for its numerous aesthetics. It has created numerous architectural styles over many centuries which include renaissance, neoclassical, classical Roman, baroque. In addition, opera is very popular and a big part of the Italian culture.

A healthy people is a healthy nation. This is particularly true since a nation of healthy people who are active can be able to achieve much in terms of the labor force as compared to a nation with unhealthy citizens. Health is a key factor in the growth and flourishing of a country’s economy. The basic building materials available in Italy are brick, stone, and concrete. However, some dwelling houses in the mountains are chalet-style, constructed using thick wooden planks. Italian women put on colorfully embroidered skirts well mixed with bodices blouses and with flower-decorated hats. Meanwhile, men’s clothing is simpler but well detailed with embroidery pins or metal buttons. The Italian society highly regards decency as outlined in their business principles and customs.
