In evaluating the global perspective, the methods used in a specific region may vary from another location since communities have different practices (Ferrante, 2012). Accordingly, the fieldwork in question should accommodate all variables in all areas and ensure that the people are aware of the requirements to assist in making the necessary adjustments. It's imperative to have a clear understanding of the different research designs since they are crucial in the decision-making process. Three design models are useful in data collection for social scientific purposes. They are; cross-sectional, longitudinal and cross-sequential (Ferrante, 2012). The third method is through observational research (Ferrante, 2012). It incorporates the aspect of making direct observations on the subjects and determining their reactions with regards to different stimulants as presented by the daily activities.
