E-commerce allows the consumers to make transactions electronically using third parties who act as intermediaries between the consumers buying and the ones selling (What, 2011). b) Product Type or Services The E-commerce site will not take part in the selling process but rather it will work to connect the buyers and sellers. The site will act as a bridge between the ones offering the products and those who need it. The site will have a variety of products depending on what the consumers have to offer. The products could be new or second hand depending on what one is looking for or looking to sell. The major source of revenue for the business will be from advertisements since one is not charged to be a user.

The buyers have free access to the site and they can shop freely. However the sellers are required to pay a small fee for transactions done on the site. The business site allows the consumers to make transactions in the comfort of the comfort of their homes or wherever they may wish no matter the time therefore making it a convenience and reducing the costs of the sellers. The sellers will also be given an option of paying a certain amount in order to have their items appearing more frequently or on the top of the list making them move faster therefore generating more revenue to the business. iii) There are concerns about the safety of personal information provided to the site by the clients and how they are used.

iv) Due to the fact that the business targets a global platform it may take time for deliveries to made to clients therefore causing a disadvantage as compared to brick and mortar stores. v) The exposure of the products being sold is limited to people online only. There might be interested clients who do not have access to the internet and this highly disadvantages them. The impact is most felt in developing countries. ii) The online world is rapidly changing and so are the regulations and laws pertaining the business activities taking place on the internet. The trends and needs of the consumers are also changing and if the E-Commerce business cannot change with it might be kicked out of the market.

iii) The privacy and security concerns of users is a huge threat as the personal information or data provided may be at risk if it falls in the wrong hands in case of a hack. Some of the concerns could be like identity theft, fraud or spam emails. iv) Making a transaction in a virtual avenue that does not have a physical presence in itself is a risk by the customer and it may take trust for an individual to use it for financial transactions. The bandwidth should also fit the needs of the business since it is a global business with no restricted users. The outlook will be appealing to the eyes of the shoppers so as to improve the shopping experience of the consumers.

The site will be organized well to ensure that everything is in place that users can easily find whatever they need. E-Commerce System Functionality a) Product Menu Users will be required to register with the site and provide a valid email address, they will also be required to provide information about themselves that will aid the transaction process. The data will be safeguarded in the back office (Design 2017). It stores the information of present and potential clients in a centralized area (CRM). CRM allows employees to improve their relationships and it also puts the business in order as it arranges the data about customers and guides the business towards potential users (Ecommerce, 2017). b) Hardware The business will not require a server as every piece of information will be stored in a cloud that will be protected by a very strong firewall.

The advantage of the cloud is that despite the location it will be easy to access information simply by logging into a Wi-Fi network. The business can also design an application that will allow the users to access the services of the site from their mobile phones. iii) Social Media It is important for the business to be made visual for all users of the social media. Use of influential figures as brand ambassadors in marketing the business will attract a large pool of users. Platforms such as Instagram and Pinterest go a long way in creating a visual awareness of the business on social, Facebook and Twitter likewise help in creating a buzz about the business therefore attracting more customers.

iv) Local Marketing The presence of the business at all times is important therefore making the business visible locally is important. In the local market the business should be the one to appear first on every search area around its vicinity and not its competitors. The global evolution is allowing the presence of the C2C businesses to be profitable and essential. However there are concerns on the security offered by the online retail and wholesale companies since there have been cases of identity thefts, fraud and scams that make users shy away from using the sites. This cases are true but they can also be solved with the programs that have been invented that allow maximum security and privacy for all users.
