Organizations that do not embrace the characteristics mentioned above face unfavorable impact that affects the productivity of the entire operations. Also, the traits have notable effects on the society. According to Benhamadi, (2016) any public organization that does not incorporate the aspect of ethical conduct to the employees in the workplace dramatically affects the efficient operation of the organization. Ethical decision making plays a very important role in individuals in the organizations. Also, all individuals especially the leaders should incorporate the idea of diversity that will, in turn, promote the cultural competence in the organization. This paper also explores the criminal justice system of the United States prisons.

America country has the highest number of the people who are incarcerated due to various offenses. The statistics show that for every 100,000, there are 693 persons jailed in a certain residential area. There has been controversy as to why the incarceration rate is high. He had been convicted of rape and the judge at work at the time threw out the conviction due to lack of enough evidence by the prosecutors which could probably help the case. The prosecutors in this system feel they are the good people than their opponents and therefore this bring about dehumanization. Judges, on the other hand, have portrayed lack of teamwork and therefore when it reaches making a rational decision together, they end up portraying incompetence in their field of work thus many people are jailed due to lack of justice which could emanate from the judges.

The criminal justice system tends to lack ethics, diversity and the cultural competency. On the other hand, there is no good relationship between the system and the community. Low performance and efficiency of various organizations are brought by lack of these traits in their operations, and therefore they have an unwanting relationship with the surrounding community. Impact of Ethics The mass incarceration of people is unethical. However, this is brought about by lack of ethical policies that could control the imprisonment of the American citizen. According to Wagner & Rabuy, 2015 around 2. 3 million citizens are jailed in the federal prisons and other jails in America. For instance, they can manage the inmates that come from different culture. Also, the detention officers who are culturally competent have the easy time and therefore needs to have a good understanding of the own views and those of prisoners thus avoiding stereotyping of different people.

Cultural competency closes the argumentative posture that exists to the officers. Besides, it tries to minimize the gap of empathy that exists between ethnic groups variations of different people whose their tradition is not used. There is the need for all prison managers to incorporate the aspect of expanding the diversity training in the system. For instance, it could be the management discussing the traits with all the employees of the organization. The last type is known the organizational communication that involves the entire organization participation. All three types of the communication are effective only that they need to be adaptive to the existing culture. The success of any organization is determined by effective communication within it. Communication is the only effective tool that can be used to illustrate ethics, cultural competency, and diversity.
