Additionally this study will show how each annotation relates to other sources on the same topic such as; reliance on extant research for expert knowledge and in order to obtain useful data for decision making. Sexism at workplace is more rampant today than ever. Women at workplace are given little or no preference to take roles in management or even the privilege to assume leadership roles in the organizations they work for or even the society they live in. Affirmative action has been translated for something else. Women are taken advantage of over the general perception that they are weak and that they require support and protection. This research was put forward to purposely discuss simple but list researched area on the adverse effects of benevolent sexism at workplace on self-efficacy and performance.

This research started by focusing previous research work that have concentrated more in highlighting the adverse effects of hostile or ruthless sexism on women at workplace. Benevolent sexism is defined as positive kind of discrimination. In other words it is discrimination in disguise since its ultimate is either equal or even worse the normal kind of discrimination common to all. This research used ambivalent sexism theory for its methodology and in order to utilize the experience outlined in this theory. This study aimed at looking at how sensitivity to sexism and exposure to different workplace environments could influence could influence job satisfaction as well as general health of women. Ruthless society segregates these people, looks down upon them and assumes this group of people. The role of women in the society has been watered down and tarnished to useless levels. Women struggle to survive in a male dominant society, whereby affirmative action has been embraced but negatively. The society provides no room for women to exhibit the best of their abilities. This study relates to other studies for expert knowledge. However, this sounds very positive but the fact is the society has misused this fact by rendering and considering women nearly useless and as people who can never be trusted to do things on their own including assuming leadership roles in organizations.

Benevolent sexism has been portrayed to contribute negatively to the positive association between social dominance orientation and gender oriented affirmative action. This study has made efforts to explain why perceiving women as weak and as people who require support and protection is a negative vice on its own since people attribute their weakness to inabilities and therefore they end up being assumed for what they can contribute at workplace. The reality is that women can be as good as men in certain tasks and experiences. The society should create for a room whereby women are appreciated for what they are capable of doing to their best by showcasing their abilities in such tasks and roles. Further, this research showed that hostile sexism and support for patriarchy was used to make a conclusion that there were less favourable perceptions towards women who were in power or management than it was the case for benevolent sexism.

The deliverables of this study shows that there is inherent gender stereotyping, gender differences, hostile sexism of which all works against women. In simple terms it appears like the current and future generation has not left room for women to take leading roles in management at workplaces. This study didn’t not centre of competences and capabilities of women managers at particular roles in organizations. However, it is explicit that if our society could open up to accommodate the strength of women, without stereotyping and gender imbalances, there our society could be ended for success. This study uses psychological approaches to connect dot s at workplace as far as segregation for women is concerned. The results of this study in a case of two policemen showed that the subject of sexism is a duality.

The study further showed that sexism is a reality, a fact that occurs in organizations and that it is not a mere perception that doesn’t occur in a real life situation. This study showed that sexism in organizations takes place on daily bases, the culture an organization nurtures determines the extent to which this practice goes. This study is about how racial injustice and sexual harassment in organizations happens in disfavour for women. This study explains the likelihood of men to harass women and the big probability of women in organizations to face racial injustice. Today many perceives women as objects for abuse, with heightened chances of subjecting women to harassment at workplace.

Men are wired to neglect women at workplace at the same time there has been huge possibility of women being mistreated in organizations due to the place the society paces women. Culture and general perceptions have it that men are superior or more masculine than women, hence women should be subject to me in all parameters. Zimmer, Lynn. Women are not given leadership roles, they are no longer involved in decision making hence they feel ignored and their capabilities assumed. This study relates to other studies to obtain useful data for concrete decision making. Hall, J. Camille, Joyce E. Everett, and Johnnie Hamilton-Mason. Women are looked down upon as weaker vessel who don’t deserve the opportunity to lead. As this happens it belittles black women to the point that they fail to give their very best in enhancing productivity in organizations they work for. Sexism is an obstruction to good performance, team work and gender equality. Black women are perceived as slaves, they are paid peanuts for very heavy tasks, they are threatened to be fired if they raise any objection to the set rules and regulations which infringe their personal rights, and they are tasked to work for long working hours and denied promotions for work well done.
