The massive white tower was constructed in 1066 by William the Conqueror as a way of asserting Norman power. Being a government owned infrastructure, the tower is more responsive to the regional political waves. Political Influence First, the political influence is felt through the state policies and regulations. In the UK, there are clearly stipulated laws and legislations regarding the management, protection and operation of the critical tourism and hospitality centers particularly the World Heritage Sites such as the Tower of London. The UK has always instituted policies that favor the growth of the tourism and hospitality industry. From the analysis of the Tower of London's political environment, it is clearly evident that most of the political factors in the UK promote proper management and operation of the World Heritage Site. However, minor adjustments should be made to allow flexibility and swiftness in policy making so as to cope with the prevailing dynamic conditions. Recommendations From the analysis, there are various recommendations that can be made regarding the Tower of London. First and most important is that proper maintainance of the site should be observed. Secondly, more focus should be put on the negative impact of the political conditions in the nation. Influential political individuals should not be given a room to use the site for personal gains. Proper regulations should be put in place to ensure the site is protected and attracts more tourists to the nation. The final recommendation is that the law processing activity in the site should be made less rigid. The current world is so dynamic and there are many issues that requires quick decision making. Some of the bureaucratic procedures should be done away with to enable immediate managers to make quick and effective decisions.
