5 Year Career Development Plan

Leadership and management has always been in me since I was a child. The self-esteem inspired and encouraged me to focus on this career. I have been a leader and explored numerous leadership skills by supervising and maintaining a team to conduct daily activities in a safe manufacturing environment as indicated in my CV. I used to conduct toolbox meeting and collected feedback from the team to improve the performance outcome. The leadership experience motivated me to choose the career. One is able to understand their ability and values. Self-confidence is essential ad helps people to face employment challenges at workplaces (Tran 73). Besides, other learning outcomes in the employability module includes efficacy and metacognition. The cognitive aspect play an essential role in employability. Job seekers have to identify their ability and limit.

Aspects such as computer literacy, team work, self-management diversity helps one to get a job (Merrill 18). Similarly, other aspects of employability includes autonomy, emotional intelligence and team work (Merrill 27). It is important for employees to be independent and make appropriate decision. Good decision-making at workplaces leads to high production and profitability. Companies experience high growth if change is implemented. However, the use of different colors makes it stand out and presentable. The employers does not have to strain and will be able to read out everything. The fonts are visible and well arranged. Showing the skills I have gained from the specific courses Making right career decisions and developing a plan may seem easy but most people face challenges when it comes to career choices. Issues related to career choices have been controversial for many years and the topic is really interesting.

I have been able to improve my interpersonal skills, norms and values. Employability and recruitment at a global context should embrace diversity to increase knowledge and spread of ideas. Technological advancement plays an important role and depends on globalization. Besides, the course enabled me to establish my five year career plan. The decision in career plan is influenced by several factors such as economic stability, family background, interest, values, personality and desired goals. The experience also enable me get deep understanding of communication skills. The lectures gave me more insights to express myself and persuade my cases or argument. I could do presentation and learn more including listening and communication skills. The school work helped me built a strong team work spirit. I was able to understand people and their interaction through team work.
