This should be done with the sole goal of attaining a standard that ensures every segment of the market is satisfied. Therefore, this paper will be focusing on how Al Gharbiah Company, a cement producing firm based in Saudi Arabia can succeed in delivering products that are more economically, socially, and environmentally superior thus improving its customer-centricity in the long-run. The presentation will look into the value proposition with respect to the sustainability goal. In doing this the paper will assess the sustainable products and the green behavior that would be adopted by the company in an instance where it initiates its focus towards sustainability. A sustainable product is one which has a credible scientific system able to support any environmental claims concerning the product.

Having highlighted these facts, sustainability has not yet been adopted by the cement industry in Saudi Arabia, with Al Gharbiah cement not being an exception. Case Sample The idea of green concrete has been brought by several sections of the constructions industry as the much-anticipated step towards sustainability. The size of the entire construction industry has been expanding, signaling increasing demand for construction materials. As a result, the availability of the aggregate of concrete has in recent past become a problem, creating the urge for sustainability for Al Gharbiah Company and the rest. A good example of a company that has successfully embraced the idea of green concrete is Cape Brick, based in South Africa. Therefore, there are benefits such as decreased energy consumption and reduced hazardous waste.

Economically, the company will benefit from reduced costs of waste disposal, there will be new sources of revenue thanks to increased sales, reduced costs of supplying material among others (G. Tilleman, 2015). Total Value Proposition The well-known advantages of concrete such as general availability, low costs as well as wide applicability have meant that it is the most used construction ingredient globally. Despite this, the popularity carries along a great environmental cost. With today's globalized culture, consumers have developed a culture of paying significant attention to claims concerning sustainability by both the products and brands. Such nature of attention has with no doubt managed to shift the market towards favoring products and brands which are realized by virtue of respecting and conserving the environment (Ciasullo, 2017).

WTA, WTP and Consumer Surplus Given the fact that Al Gharbiah Cement Company intends to shift from using traditional ways of manufacturing Portland cement towards sustainability programs, and then there is the need to carry out and economic valuation. In doing this, the company needs to establish both the WTP and the WTA.
