Therefore, they are unable to realize optimum concentration at the workplace and cannot full fill their duties at home. Due to these challenges, 45% of workers in the USA consider work-life balance as a key attribute of gauging the attraction of any organization that they would work in (Erdmann-Sullivan, 2018). Work-life balance constitutes the balance that an individual needs to achieve between time allocated for family, work, and leisure and other important this in life. To achieve work-life balance, there is need to have an integration between individual goals, tasks and responsibilities that have the potential to conflict. Therefore, individuals need to use various techniques to manage time, develop task schedules and routines besides avoiding any kind of distraction that may lead to loss of time.

As a result, I have established what I want my life to look like and consequently drawn a line between my personal and professional activities besides taking responsibility for my tasks and how I manage my time. Moreover, I will also engage my employer in defining my roles in the organization to enable me avoid situations of role conflict and role ambiguity. On the other hand, I will also work on enhancing my organizational skills. This I hope to achieve by making a to-do list for both work and home obligations. In addition, I will work on improving my time management by prioritizing my tasks and avoiding all kinds of distractions. This strategy will help me monitor the time I take to complete assignments and thus gauge my productivity.

My third strategy will be to keep away from any social medial networks during office hours. This strategy will ensure that I avoid any form of unproductive conversations which are not related to my work with friends and family on the social media platforms (Youssef-Morgan, & Noon, 2017). A combination of these strategies will ensure that I give maximum attention to my office duties thereby completing majority of my daily tasks and avoiding spill over onto the next days. Besides, they will also help me avoid carrying any office work to my home. This will help create the right mentality to address various challenging situations with a positive attitude. When they have had the right mindset, the third strategy would be to help them set meaningful and challenging goals.

If need be, I will assist in achieving these goals by offering step by step guidance. These strategies will ensure that these individuals are able to deal with any difficult situation that they might face and will therefore be productive and more successful.
