This project aims to analyse the marketing strategies adopted by non-profit making organisations (Rana, 2017). Specifically, the project analyses the marketing strategies of the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC). The project provides a critical analysis of the organisation including its marketing strategies and the challenges it experiences while reaching out to its targeted market (Armstrong, 2009). Moreover, the project reports on the level at which the ANTHC meets the needs and expectations of the target market (“Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium”, 2018). The ANTHC’s vision is to ensure that Alaska natives are the healthiest people in the world. On 23 March 2019, the organisation would celebrate its 12th Annual Raven’s Ball. At this moment, donations and contributions, as well as sponsorships to improve ANTHC’s services provisions are made. After that, the ANTHC uses these funds to promote its extensive programs (Barrio, 2016).

The funding enables the organisation to provide door-to-door medical services to the residents (Nash, 2018). The organisation achieves this by initiating medical programs such as cancer, smoking and diabetes prevention programs (Nash, 2018). In accomplishing this goal, the ANTHC has launched various disease and injury prevention measures (Edelman, Mandle & Kudzma, 2017). These programs include cancer, diabetes, elder outreach and other health promotion and diseases prevention mechanisms (Edelman, Mandle & Kudzma, 2017). Moreover, the organisation aims at reducing maximising injury prevention among the Alaska Native people in addition to Tobacco preventive and control measures. The organisation’s majors on cancer preventive measures among the Alaska Native people. At this moment, the organisation in collaboration with its health system partners provides quality and most effective measures to prevent and control cancer (Edelman, Mandle & Kudzma, 2017). The initiative intends to eliminate diabetes and health complications related to the disease (Edelman, Mandle & Kudzma, 2017).

In prevention and control of tobacco consumption, ANTHC provides training and technical assistance to the Alaska residents (“Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium”, 2018). At this moment, the organisation provides technical assistance and improves the treatment protocols in the healthcare setting, distributes tobacco education resources, assist the rural community and enable residents to curb the tobacco usage. The organisation’s Tobacco Cessation Services offers free tobacco cessation services to ANTHC employees and patients. The ANTHC adopt Injury Prevention Program aims at reducing the injury morbidity and mortality among the Alaska natives. It as well promotes wellness and health care by promoting various community health programs as aforementioned. Creating awareness to the Alaska natives concerning the various outbreak or diseases enables the organisation to build up a healthy environment. Its health programs including cancer, diabetes and smoking among others, rescue the residents from the risks associated with such diseases.
