Section 1, Planning There were a total of five goals: developing knowledge base, critical thinking skills development, developing ethical and social responsibility in diverse learning world, improved communication skills, and professional development. I established these five goals during my study, and though I finally achieved them, I had few challenges in some areas. So, there are steps, and strategies that were involved in achieving these goals: Developing knowledge was number one most important goal in my studying. I was tasked with demonstrating the fundamental knowledge and the display comprehensive understanding of the main course concepts. Moreover, historical trends, empirical findings, academic perspectives helped me a lot in identifying how principles in this course relate to daily learning problems. Also, to further enhance communication skill’s development, I worked hard to develop effective writing for various purposes, and interact effectively with all the people in school, including the staff.

In this goal, my aim was to ensure that I develop ability to clearly as well as effectively communicate to an identified audience both in orally and in writing. I also wanted to be able to easily create communication, which demonstrates content knowledge, creativity, critical thoughtfulness, and a deep reflection of psychological issues. I also understood the importance of technology, so I wanted to be able to appropriately utilize technology in maximizing clarity, impact as well as accessibility of my ideas. Lastly, was professional development goal where I mainly emphasized on applications of the theoretical concepts on the daily issues. I always yearned to attend a class where as I learn I feel relevance of issues at first hand. All these boring classes, failed to establish a learning experience that was influenced by our psychological appreciation, internal needs, drives, and impulses as Social Learning Theory advocates (Bandura and Walters, 1977).

Having a class, which is more of a training environment or workshop than theoretical learning was something this course provided to me. We were directed to teach each other with my colleagues in class, and thus it allowed us to relate the lessons with our real world. Throughout the course, I found myself learning a lot through interaction with my colleagues in verbal debates, online blogs, participating in tests, and research as well as making up my lessons; something, which. Thus, in general my experience was incredible one. Section 3, Reflection According to The Glossary of Education Reform (2013), “learning experience refers to any program, interaction, course, or other incidences in which learning occur, whether in traditional academic settings or non-traditional settings. ” My learning experience was through various ways for instance learning from professors as well as learning through interactive software systems, and important educational games.

Looking at the key experience after these years, there are many things that have contributed towards achievement of all the five goals I laid down. Various experiences helped me to develop a knowledge base in the course. Many experiences helped me towards developing critical thinking skills. The fact that the educators used a more involving teaching technique for instance, allowing us to participate in discussions during the lectures to link course to our daily needs. These discussions not only developed our critical thinking skills, but also communication skills. Discussing with colleagues involves sharing ideas logically, and giving substantive proofs to back them up. In so doing, the ability to use quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze scenarios to reach in an amicable conclusion develops.

My future goals are as follows: My first future goal is competing leadership training course. Professional development involves learning new skills, and continuing doing so. I am planning to foster my career by learning new skills as well as practices at the early career stage development including in the future. I would like to enroll in training courses and plans because this will be an invaluable means of gaining skills and knowledge I need to develop my role and improve certain practices. However, doing this does not have to be necessarily a formal process, but it will be essential for my knowledge in my career and issues around it. I agree with this because setting specific and challenging goals in this course increased my achievement.

Also, in fact throughout my learning I discovered that completing my learning goals positively impacted my self-esteem and self-efficacy as advocated by Light (2001) and so does my future career. For these reasons, the time between moment of making the right choices like now, as well as the moment of reaching certain career goals may greatly influence future career decision making processes in my life.
