Nonetheless, Confucianism did not succeed in winning the national belief, and as a result, culture moved to other religious forms that also came up with some dynasties. In as much as the diversion occurred, it has been evident how none of these religions have been successful in developing a powerful history as they carry forward in providing spiritual support to different people. Research activities have indicated that the religions that came up after Confucianism are known as Daoism and Buddhism with Buddhism having a huge influence on the Chinese culture. For this reason, this paper will address an international comparison of religions between China and other civilizations. Daoism Also known as Taoism, Daoism mainly advocates for people always living harmoniously and with simplicity and always is aware of nature.

Some of the beliefs possessed by the Taoists include that life is supreme of all belongings. As a result of their belief that Tao is their giver of life and their belief in the craziness of accomplishment, the prior Taoists educated people how life is among one of the greatest possessions that people have and that the other things were meant to decay. In this religion, they have the belief that power, education, fame, wealth have the right to be considered as the transient and flitting illusions. In Daoism, it is recognized and acknowledged that all the monuments and accomplishments of the humankind would all one time be destroyed by Tao. All the greatest buildings will one day collapse due to decay and the hard-earned knowledge that many people have will be one time superseded.

From when the history of Chinese turned to be memorial to intellectuals, Confucianism has become the backbone of the Chinese state. In the phase between the twelfth and the sixteenth centuries, Confucianism received modifications to have the capability of revitalizing religion and philosophy with the main aim of meeting with the modern state of affairs. Confucianism plays a great role in enhancing of the perceptions that promote immortality or rebirth, with the help of its properties that possess a wide web of relationship from the time that a person is given birth to up to when that individual will die (Anthony 45). By possessing the feature of a web of relationships, this widely indicates how people will possess the notion that Confucianism is much more about the relationship of people in their life.

Confucianism has been recognized as very different from the other forms of religions since concerning thought on immortality; this religion is seen to be paying little attention to the idea about life after death. According to Kong Fuzi, proper ritual can only be achieved through the Five Great Relationships. These relationships were also known to be covering human encounters and ascertain the position of people in the Five Great Relationships. These relationships are also known to be inherently hierarchical. It is also recognized that there always exists an inferior and superior person in all the encounters with all the positions both having their rights and duties. A person who is superior cannot come up to boast since they have the responsibility of caring for the inferior people.

For example, impermanence is greatly linked to gradual extinct, while unsatisfactoriness is associated with the invariable changes and the lack of pain where people always have a wish of staying. Also, the lack of a permanent self is what seems to be the main idea of this paper rebirth. Practices carried out during the rebirth involve passing of the flame on some candles, an action that symbolized the locomotion of the spirit from one life to the other. Immortality was manifested through this practice as a result of the belief that eternal features of life moved from one individual to the other. In general, practices in Buddhism are mainly focused on rebirthing which made a contribution to the premises regarding immortality.

With the help of a critical perspective, it is essential that people take note that cultural paradoxes and religious factors are among the key factors that influenced the way people were practicing Buddhism in China. Nonetheless, since it is known that there is no condition that is always permanent, the Chinese developed fewer regards for their principles and shortly in the first century AD, Buddhism had already developed its roots deep in China in a manner that seemed to have an influence on the Chinese traditions (Starr 65). The introduction of Buddhism in China was accompanied by the coming of a variety of beliefs, doctrines, and new perceptions that recognized heaven and hell. The influence brought by the coming the Buddhism went on to change and evolve the demands of the society which is very dynamic and also possessing the capability of manufacturing and discarding the material things.
