Smoking is becoming a major social problem in the world. In Hong Kong, the issue of smoking is one of the lead causes of some diseases that affects the vital parts of the body, and many people are now suffering from smoking-related diseases. The general expenses that are incurred in the quest to control the smoking-related diseases are also quite enormous and hence there is a clear need for conceptual method quite dangerous. Smoking causes an array of diseases and other complications, and these affect both active smokers and passive smokers. Lung cancer, throat cancer, and breathing difficulties are some of the prime effects that are related to the massive spread of issues that are directly related to smoking. The same will also help control all other issues that are directly associated with smoking and smokers such as environmental pollution, and the current issue of global warming which is becoming a critical factor in the present society.

Considerations Smoking Prevention Policies in Hong Kong The smoking policies that have been put in place in Hong Kong are also applicable and chiefly utilized in Mainland China. Both Hong Kong and Mainland China have developed some key policies that govern the utilization and the promotion of Tobacco and smoking prevention policies that aim at controlling the rate of smoking within the regions. Various considerations were put in place on the development of the legalities, and laws which bind the events and the extensive usage of smoking and smoking policies in the region. The smoking age is one of the key factors that aim at controlling and shaping the age of the persons who are supposed to be smokers. The age factor, in this case, is a key consideration that is aimed at ensuring that all the persons who are into smoking are of the required age. The age factors are therefore another key consideration that the policies attempted to promote that will prevent people under the age of 18 from engaging in any act of smoking.

The development of the law also provided various ways through high the law could be promoted to control the public smoking in the public places, and various legislations were developed to control the same. To ensure success in managing the issue, the government introduced a tough measure to allow for the prosecution of anybody who was found to have broken the law that binds public smoking (Koplan et al. b) E-Cigarettes The government of Hong Kong also introduced policies that bound the importation and the use of e-cigarettes. This was based on the fact that e-cigarettes were gaining huge momentum in the society and hence there was a need for a whole inclusive method that bound the use and the importation of the same.

The use of e-cigarettes was gaining a large following and especially among the primary and the high school students, and hence there was a need to develop the most appropriate method that could control the sell and the use of the same. In this case, the government aimed at regulating the cigarette and the tobacco users and the government aimed at controlling the smokers. Advertisement is one of the ways that promote the use of a given substance and hence, the use and the role of tobacco advert were to promote the drug and encourage more people to buy and consume the product. Therefore, with the banning of all the adverts on cigarette sales and smoking, the government aimed at achieving a zero promotional scale for advertising and promoting the sale of the drug.

It is worth noting that the success and the application of this policy have not been wholly successful. According to research by Wang et al. 3% and 38. 3% said that they would reduce cigarette consumption by half and quit smoking, respectively, if the cigarette price is increased (Wang et al. Application of Psychological Considerations One of the key tobacco and cigarette smoking policies that have been in place across various states and regions within society today is the issue of public smoking. Hong Kong, China and also Canada are some of the key countries that have developed a regulation that governs the public cigarette smoking, and this has become one of the most successful methods of checking in controlling the adverse effects of smoking.

The application of the same method provides the most effective rationale that allows for maximum usage and application of knowledge that will make someone make rationable decisions on how the method works and its effectiveness in developing the most coherent method of checking and facilitating the decision to avoid smoking within the public limelight. It is an error in thinking that is often faced when someone is processing or interpreting the information in the world around them. The human brain is the major factory of making any decisions, and hence it can be subjected to limitations. When these limitations are made or achieved, then one will be a force to make decisions on a given angle that will affect how they are thinking and the general way that the human being can make the most viable decisions.

The cognitive biasness usually arises when the human brain attempts to simply use information processing system and hence forcing the brain to act in a given way. When one makes decisions based on the immediate surrounding, we tend to think that we are objective, logical, and capable of taking in and evaluating all the information that is available and hence we are starting the best decision (Halder et al. The development of these policies was based on controlling the issue that had created a lot of social ills in the society and which also had affected many people in the community. The government developed measures to curb the same that was largely witnessed based on the psychological overview of the users and changing the perspective and the overall developments on cigarette usage.
