One of the most important strategies that instructors use to assist learners in a classroom includes Project-Based Learning. Overview Project-Based Learning entails a dynamic classroom strategy that learners utilize to actively examine and assess real-world problems, as well as challenges to be able to gain deeper knowledge, skills and understanding. Majority of teachers or instructors believe that the traditional techniques of teaching and conveying instructions are not preparing learners for life after school and in their careers (Berger, 2003).  The traditional techniques of teaching such as lectures, as well as direct instructions can be utilized to convey information to learners, although they do not promote skills such as teamwork, curiosity, as well as problem-solving which are the major interest of employers in the job market.

According to the survey that was carried out in 2013 involving more than 700 business leaders, the report based on Allen-Sanchez survey revealed that half of the respondents reported that numerous job applicants having technical proficiency were deficient in problem-solving skills, communication, as well as decision making which was paramount to perform the job they applied for (Berger, 2003). Two of the learners have an IEP involving learning disabilities. They get additional instructional support for language art and science outside the normal classroom for a maximum of one hour daily. All 15 students have a variety of abilities; three are below the benchmark to the grade level standard involving reading, while six meet the standard, two are above average level and four are well below the average level (Boston and Wolf, 2006).

Four are below the average standard in science, five are at or above the average standard, while six are below the standard. Students in the class are arranged according to academic, as well as behavioural needs. Therefore, for students to realize great improvements concerning the quality of their work, they need to take their time. This will enable learners to generate work which is not only commendable but also admirable to themselves, their parents, as well as the community at large (Dinnen and Collopy, 2009). Instructors or teachers should be concerned with student`s behaviour of rushing to the next subject matter without having a deeper understanding of the existing agenda. Lower students who strive to accomplish their work without succeeding to understand need proper attention and accommodation from their teachers and fellow learners in a classroom.
